The annual TSA Year-End Bash is a favourite event on the design calendar. Open to members, supporters and their guests, the Bash helps TSA to fulfill its mandate “to promote and celebrate architecture.” Each year the Bash recognizes a “great space in Toronto”. This year we are delighted to be holding our party at the Art Gallery of Ontario, designed by Gehry Partnership with the recent addition of The Weston Family Learning Centre designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects. Please join friends in the design community to celebrate architecture and design.

TOURS
The Bash will provide a unique opportunity for guests to tour this remarkable building, one of the most famous additions to Toronto’s built environment. Hariri Pontarini Architects will also be offering TSA members an exclusive tour of the recently completely Weston Family Learning Centre. Tour details are as follows:

5:30 and 6:00 pm | Tours of The Weston Family Learning Centre by Hariri Pontarini Architects- Sorry, this tour is for TSA members only, pre-registration required, limited capacity.

6:00 to 8:30 pm | Tours of the AGO by an AGO educator will leave every half hour from Baillie Court on a first come basis and is open to all Bash guests.

Tickets, which include "cocktail hors d'oeuvres", are available for a nominal fee and can be purchased in advance online as venue capacity is limited. Note: last year’s bash sold out completely, so we urge those interested in attending to buy tickets soon.  Hope to see you there!

Although we will offer a very limited number of cash admission tickets at the door ($20 for members or non-members) after 7:00PM, those with advance tickets will be given preference. The AGO will be enforcing venue capacity limits so "at-the-door" ticket buyers may be asked to wait if the room is at capacity.

The TSA Year End Bash would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors...

Toronto Society of Architects

Established in 1887, the Toronto Society of Architects (TSA) is a non-profit volunteer-based organization comprised of architects, professionals from sister organizations, and members of the community that are interested in architecture and urban issues. The TSA is the local Chapter of the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), which is the licensing and regulatory body that governs the practice of architecture in Ontario.

The TSA plays an advocacy role in the City, ensuring that architecture and design are key considerations in public discussions and in processes that have an impact on our urban environment.

The TSA organizes and sponsors a wide variety of initiatives including exhibitions, tours,  publications, competitions, forums, film series and celebrations that engage the architectural profession, its sister disciplines, and the public. An elected Executive, comprised of volunteers, undertakes and directs these initiatives throughout the year. We strive to promote and advance the role of architecture and design in Toronto’s dynamic community.

Membership in the TSA is open to all with an interest in Toronto architecture and urban issues.  Please consider joining!
